Reading is an addiction and pleasure.....
(aren't most addictions pleasureable but at least reading does not have the unfortunate adverse effects of many addictions.....okay - who cares if the house needs vacuuming but the book needs to be finished??!!)

There are so many books - and so little time....
Reading was my escape during chemotherapy time and recovery.... time travel to somewhere else....

Paul is the son of our Lutheran minister when we lived in Binghamton - His mom died from cancer and he is rowing 3000 miles to raise money for cancer research..... amazing!
